About me
Jon is a senior engineer in the Pennsylvania Traffic and ITS group with more than 12 years of experience in ITS, automated and connected vehicles, TSM&O, and transportation technologies. He has performed several projects in the areas of performance measurements, travel time analysis, vehicle probe data, systems engineering and architecture, GIS, and V2X technologies. While with the Wisconsin TOPS Lab, Jon was the TSM&O program lead, where he co-developed the Wisconsin Automated Vehicle Proving Grounds, one of 10 original USDOT sites, and managed the Madison Park Street Connected Vehicle Corridor, which was the 2021 ITS Wisconsin Project of the Year. He has served as project manager on several ITS and TSM&O projects over the past 6 years, and he is currently involved in Pennsylvania’s electric vehicle and automated vehicle efforts. Jon holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Michigan Tech along with master’s degrees in electrical engineering, geography, and business.
