About me
Alexis is the Press Secretary for PennDOT where she serves as primary spokesperson for the Department. She works with a team of communications experts to tell the story of PennDOT’s efforts to keep Pennsylvanians connected through smart, safe, and efficient transportation solutions. Alexis previously served as press officer for PennDOT's Driver and Vehicle Services, where she led communications on many critical initiatives including the statewide rollout of REAL ID. She also serves on the Transportation Communications Steering Committee for AASHTO. Prior to joining the Commonwealth, Alexis worked in nonprofit communications and programming as the Director of Creative Programming for the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art, and the Public Relations Director for Gamut Theatre Group.
