About me
Mr. Thompson has experience in traffic operations, transit, and highway design, with a focus on roundabouts, alternative intersection/interchange design, safety assessment, and crash analysis. His responsibilities include identifying project needs; developing and recommending alternatives; and providing preliminary and final design. Mr. Thompson is well regarded within the TRB community for his geometric expertise having recently presented a TRB webinar (April 2021) on Truck Assumptions for Roundabout Design and presented at TRB’s 6th International Roundabout Conference on Accommodating Trucks at Roundabouts.
