About me
Brian offers over 16 years of experience in the fields of traffic signal, communications, signing, pavement marking, ITS, and lighting. His traffic signal experience includes controller programming, timing chart development, traffic signal plan development, timing plan development, coordination plans, field implementation, controller troubleshooting, Synchro/SimTraffic and VISSIM modeling, training course development, and field investigations.
Brian is currently leading the I-695 TSMO project which will deploy an inside part-time shoulder use lane for nearly 40 lane-miles of I-695. Brian recently completed a V2X pilot project to improve pedestrian safety at the Addison Road Metro station pedestrian crossing of MD 214 by providing pedestrian warning messages to motorists.
