About me
Brian Hite is a Transportation Planner at the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission (LVPC) since 2015. His primary duties include freight infrastructure planning, traffic data collection, development reviews with extensive focus on transportation impacts to the transportation network.
Prior to becoming a transportation planner, Brian was a heavy-duty commercial vehicle mechanic and supervisor for 26 years and still holds a commercial driver’s license. Brians background is unique in the transportation planning world and allows the LVPC to ingrate freight planning from a driver and freight provider perspective as the regions warehousing and logistics developments continue to grow expediently. Brian has a degree from Penn State University in Business Logistics and Supply Chain Management and is a graduate of the Eastern Transportation Coalition Freight Academy in 2023.
