Dave recently completed 45 years of service with High and has accumulated over 2-Million Safe Driver Miles, most of which are heavy-haul miles. Dave is one of four High Transit drivers assigned to a 16-axle jeep and steerable dolly configuration, capable of hauling a 100-ton payload. Dave has played a crucial role in delivering steel girders to High Steel Structures jobs including the Tappan Zee Bridge (Tarreytown, NY), the Kosciuszko Bridge (Brooklyn, NY), the Cooper River Bridge (Charleston, SC), and the Nitro-St. Albans Bridge (Nitro, WV). He has also hauled countless specialty loads for High Transit customers outside of the High Companies, including large propane vessels, heavy machinery, military equipment, building steel structures, overhead crane girders, and precast concrete structures.
