About me
Jennifer K. Walsh, P.E., currently oversees the Traffic Engineering Section for HDR, Inc. She has over 30 years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic operations, conceptual design, and comprehensive transportation planning. Jenn has a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Civil Engineering from Villanova University. Her responsibilities at HDR include expanding and growing the traffic section for the eastern part of Pennsylvania, while also serving as a Senior Project Manager on a variety of traffic, highway and bridge projects including traffic engineering analysis, traffic control plans, intersection design, and traffic studies.
Throughout her career, she has been involved in numerous projects throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia improving the transportation system and developing innovative solutions to transportation problems. Jenn’s passion is also actively serving in numerous leadership roles within the profession, including on the Boards of Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) (Strategic Partnerships Chair); Engineer’s Week Committee (Fund Development Director); MASITE (Section Advisor); and served as the Past President of ASCE, MASITE and the Mid-Colonial District of ITE.
On a personal level, Jenn lives in Havertown with her two children, Nicholas and Kiely. In her free time, she loves volunteering at their schools or simply being their biggest fan on the sidelines of their sports.
