About me
Jeremy Shaneyfelt has served as the PennDOT District Portfolio Manager since 2021.
As the District Portfolio Manager, Jeremy plays a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding the strategic planning and execution of all capital transportation projects within the district. In this capacity, Jeremy develops and monitors the district's annual letting schedule averaging $200 million yearly, balancing project timelines with available resources to optimize efficiency and minimize delays, all while aligning with district goals and objectives. He is also responsible for managing all Consultant Agreements associated with the Design Unit and leading a team of Planners, Engineers, and multiple Consultant Project Managers.
With 15 years of experience in design, Jeremy's career has spanned various roles, including District Pavement Engineer, District Planning and Programming Manager, Senior Project Manager and has spent time in the Local Projects Unit and a Highway Design Squad. Notably, during his tenure as a Senior Project Manager, he successfully managed and delivered the $100 million I-70 Yukon & Madison Interchange Project, which received the NASTO (Northeast Association of State Transportation Officials) Regional Award for Operations Excellence.
Jeremy earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from West Virginia University in 2008 and holds Professional Engineering Licenses in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Residing in Uniontown with his family, Jeremy enjoys remodeling houses and spending quality time with his wife, Nicole, their two daughters, Kenna and Adlee.
