About me
Jim is a Vice President and National Connected and Automated Vehicle Technology Director with Michael Baker International where he co-leads the company's Mobility Technology Solutions Practice. In his role, he provides national program leadership and client advisory services, specializing in emerging transportation technologies, including advanced traffic signal systems, intelligent transportation systems, connected and automated vehicles, systems engineering, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and smart mobility and logistics. He is actively engaged in industry and research organizations, including as a board member of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America and the Intelligent Transportation Society of Pennsylvania, and as a standing committee member of the Transportation Research Board Freeway Operations Committee. He is a licensed civil engineer in Pennsylvania and a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently serving as the consultant program manager for PennSTART.
