About me
Matt Hinshaw is the Data-Driven Safety Analysis Program Manager for FHWA’s Office of Safety. He strives to identify and promote practical approaches to improve DDSA for all agencies. Matt began his career at Kansas DOT working in design and safety. He has a wide range of project development experience in geometric and roadside safety design, safety analysis, traffic engineering and project management. Matt has a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas and is a registered Professional Engineer in Kansas.
