About me
Rich Reisinger graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering in 2002. His career with the Commonwealth began in 2003 as a Civil Engineer Trainee at the PA Department of Environmental Protection in the Dam Safety Program.

In 2014, he transferred to PENNDOT Engineering District 8, located in the Harrisburg Area. From 2014 until 2019 he worked on several transportation improvement projects including the expansion of Interstate 83 around the Capital Beltway and the P3 Rapid Bridge Replacement Program. During this time he served as the District’s Right of Way Administrator and then as Design Services Engineer. In June 2019, he returned to the PADEP to serve as the Division Chief for Dam Safety. In this capacity he was responsible for the management and operations of the entire Division at a statewide level and for the implementation of the state’s dam safety program.
In March 2022, Rich returned to PENNDOT Engineering District 8 to serve as the Assistant District Executive-Design. In this capacity, he is responsible for a staff of over 100 professionals working to deliver a design portfolio of 75+ projects on a yearly basis in support of the District’s eight county area in southcentral Pennsylvania.
Rich is a licensed professional engineer in PA and lives in the Mechanicsburg area with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys being outdoors, but recently spends most of his time shuttling and attending his girls travel soccer and gymnastics events.
