About me
Silvia Scheuermann, P.E., PTOE is a Deputy Department Manager for AECOM’s Greater PA Traffic and ITS Department as well as an alumni of the Pennsylvania State University. She graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Surveying Engineering. Ms. Scheuermann has over 10 years of experience in traffic analysis and design. Her recent projects have included the Bus Rapid Transit project in Pittsburgh, PA; SR 0081 Section D46 Reconstruction for PennDOT District 4-0; and the SR 0080 Section 17M Reconstruction project for PennDOT District 5-0 performing VISSIM analysis. Ms. Scheuermann is intrigued with the constantly changing technologies in the transportation industry, not only in their impacts to capacity analysis and behavior modeling, but how these technologies will materialize and change the industry in the future.
