About me
With more than a decade of emergency management experience, Bill Howard is the Traffic Emergency Management Specialist for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. Bill oversees the Unmanned Aerial Systems program, the weather management program, and the hazardous materials response program. He is the lead planning chief for the Turnpike Command Center activations as well as the Lead Agency Representative to the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency for the PTC. He graduated from FEMA’s National Emergency Management Advanced Academy in August 2022. He is also a professionally certified emergency manager from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. Bill is also an emergency management coordinator for three townships in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He enjoys spending time with his family, photography, and traveling.
